Amor fati - The virtue of loving one's fate
I am a Romantic.
I don't mean that I am sentimental, I mean that I have an attitude and point of view in which my imagination, emotion, and individuality are primary. I take my idea of romanticism from the romantic poets who stressed intimacy, beauty, ordeal, the ordinary life, and nature.
I want my romantic life to be rich and complex, to be thick with images, dreams, paintings, music and words. I want to reach out to others and share my zest for life.
Today I want to remember that love, and not intellect, is the way to the spirit. I want to embrace and love my fate.

This is a good blog. I really like part of that last paragraph: …to remember that love, and not intellect, is the way to the spirit.
Great post. Thanks. Love is rich and complex, complicated and simple (not simplistic) all at the same time. Like a fine wine or coffee. Thanks for the reminder.
loving your fate. how profound. it seems to fit in with your goals of hiding nothing and facing everything. you're an alive spirit. all the best!
